Arma 3 launcher keeps downloading mods

 · Steps To Reproduce. Whenever I try to download an Arma 3 mod on the workshop, it will (usually) download right away and download the whole mod at once (again, usually). After a around a week or so, the mod will show up in the launcher. The launcher will then either crash repeatedly until I restart my computer, or the mod will load without issue.  · My Arma 3 Launcher went weird a couple of days earlier when it decided to download gb of workshop mods again. It was working fine before this but now, I could not get the mods to load in game. I let it redownload but when it finished today, it went back to 0mb/gb downloaded.  · arma 3 Wanted to play exile, launched the a3 launcher to select a server as I usually do. All of a sudden I see steam is downloading 2GB and when I try to pause it nothing happens it just ques it up again and keeps downloading. This way you don't get any mod updates unless you do it yourself.

Use at your own risk! Download. Mission Prefetch Server. This is used to allow the launcher to download the servers bltadwin.ru before loading ARMA. If the Launcher’s window is not visible, but you see an icon of running application in the taskbar, please try running the Launcher in Safe Mode. In the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\Content" I found the mod folder, changed the name to "@RHS_whatever" and changed it to the ARMA 3 root folder. Then loaded them as local mods. They wont get updated this way but atleast I wont have to download gb worth of mods on a gb restriction per month internet:).
